Got the Tobacco one, kind of a baker's chocolate color. Very well made and unlike other vests I looked at has a nice lining. Top pockets will hold pencils or pens as they are 5" deep. This vest gets 5 Yeehaws. (Posted on 4/19/12)
Cowboy vests were meant to have lapels. This vest is truly western. I have about every color of this vest Schaefer Ranchwear has made in the last ten years. The elastic rear cinch is much better than those vests with rear buckles that never really adjust properly. Just a great looking functional vest. You can't go wrong with two or three of these in your closet. (Posted on 10/10/11)
I will begin by saying I go nowhere without my Schaefer Ranger Vest. I own 2 and all have held up very well to rough work out on the range here in West Texas. These vests have been through barbed wire, mesquite, and anything else imaginable and still hold up very well. I recommend these vests for anyone wanting to add a practical, reliable, and sturdy vest with a little bit of south western flair. (Posted on 9/15/11)
