Soft and Supple Review by Old School Cowboy

The leather in this vest is remarkable soft; never hard or stiff. The back of the vest is canvas with an elastic cinch for a more form fit. It has two inside pockets with snaps. Looks great with jeans and a nice shirt. This vest is not in the most current Schaefer Ranchwear catalog (#30), so I believe they are being discontinued. Since Schaefer did not have my size, I purchased mine at Drysdales, a Schaefer Ranchwear retailer. This vest somewhat resembles the famous leather tie, canvas back vest "The Duke" wore in a lot of his western movies. A really nice, Made in the USA, product. (Posted on 10/12/11)
