Cowboy vests were meant to have lapels. This vest is truly western. I have about every color of this vest Schaefer Ranchwear has made in the last ten years. The elastic rear cinch is much better than those vests with rear buckles that never really adjust properly. Just a great looking functional vest. You can't go wrong with two or three of these in your closet.
